My Photo Story - The Hike

My final Digital Photography project is a Photo Story. I have chosen pictures from a hike I took with my daughter Amanda and my two granddaughters, Kali and Reis. At the beginning of the hike, Reis found a heart shaped rock. At the end of the hike, her mom let her take the rock home.

Portraits

My Girls
This picture was taken after my daughter Heather's New England Youth Theatre performance. My daughter Amanda worked with her in rehearsals and on stage the day of the performance.
I have been watching videos and working on manipulating my portraits for the past few days without getting the effects I was looking for. I think once I have more time to perfect the art of photo manipulation, it will be much better.
I cropped, changed the hues and contrast and removed the red eye.

My Girls before

These four pictures are of my cousins grandson Elliot. He had just gotten up from a nap and was contemplating the kiddie pool.
I tried a couple of different things with this picture.
Using the black and white feature in Photoshop and then manipulating the tone to make it almost a sepia and cropping out the background. Still need to figure out how to smooth the edges.
Then I converted it to a black and white drawing.
Lastly a black and white photo.
For all of the portraits I manipulated the hues and contrast to accent the features.
