Color Adjusted Images

I'm still "gimping" along...
Below are photos that I have adjusted for this assignment.

Heart Stone

One of my granddaughters found this stone on a recent hike. I was trying to reduce the sun glare from the leaves by adjusting the hue, saturation, contrast and brightness.

Neon Rose

I added a blue highlight to the pink rose to give it a different texture.

Corona Light

This is a light I have in my garage. I reduced the tint, shadows and exposure and increased the temperature to eliminate the background.

  1. I love what you did with the rose. I never would have thought to do that. The blue is a really nice contrast against the pink.

  2. I love how you are "gimping" along.. you seem to really know how to use the tools.. I have a hard time getting around with the Gimp.. I am really hoping to figure it out soon.. I just get used to one program and find it hard to "try" new things I guess..lol!! Good job! I love how your removed the blue color from your neon image! :)
