These pictures were taken around my home and yard, except for two which were of my grand daughter's baton costumes. I thought the colors and textures were great additions to the collage.
I really like how some of the pictures are almost strictly a texture. They seem as though the could be anything. It wasn't until I read your comment that I realized what a few of them were. Really makes you think about how specific detail can be in any given object.
Thanks everyone. Ben, that is a close-up shot of my grand daughter's baton costume. The blue feathers were in her hair. I thought they gave the collage some bling :)
Ok, I give up. Is that a real flower (the pink one in the upper left) or some lawn decoration? It is an incredible photo with how you can see the texture on the stamen/stigma part (I'm not sure what that part is called). I also can't figure out the brown polka dotted one next to the baton costume.
Excellent photos in this group. I love macro photography because you introduce a whole new world to things that people probably never would have looked at before.

ReplyDeleteGreat collage! What is that blue sparkly thing in the center right? I really like the look of that. All in all, great texture collage!

ReplyDeleteGreat pics!!! I love how vibrant the colors are - you def captured the highlights of all the flowers!!! Loved them all! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos. You have a variety of texture and color and slight variations in light. Would have been nice to see more light variation.
ReplyDeleteLove the close of the sea shells, it shows great detail. Great job!
